I like the magic.
Then I open the logs.

I speak about the part where an impressive technology meets memory, cost, security, an existing codebase and people who expect it to work twice.

01 / Current topics

Things worth arguing about in a room.

Each talk changes for the audience. The examples come from systems I have built, broken or had to explain afterwards.

01 · Applied AI

After the demo

Why tools, memory, evaluation, permissions and human approval decide whether an agent joins the work or merely performs it.

02 · Infrastructure

AI at home

What local models make possible, what they cost and when privacy, latency or sovereignty justify the machinery.

03 · Web

Life in a tab

The browser from HTML5 and WebRTC to WebGPU, built-in AI and hardware access—plus several things it was never supposed to do.

04 · Companies

Working once is only the beginning

Lessons from products used across borders, giant video rooms, infrastructure failures and the distance between an invention and a dependable system.

02 / Start here

Six useful ways to hear me first.

The archive is much larger. These cover current AI, browser technology, company building and a workshop where the audience has to do something.

03 / Rooms along the way

I do not only turn up with slides.

A large part of the work has been creating the conference, workshop or community in which other people can build something.

Bio without the theatre.

Longer bio

Víctor Sánchez Belmar has spent two decades making browsers, video rooms, companies and machines do things they were not quite ready to do. He co-founded and led MashMe/SyncRTC for nine years, building browser collaboration and hybrid classrooms used internationally before the company joined LoopUp. He later served as LoopUp Group CTO and President of Hybridium, co-founded Kinto/Mamori, and returned to Mallorca to run Digital Mishaps. His current work spans operational AI agents, local models, browser experiments, technical training, GDG Mallorca and Elfgineer. He is a Google Developer Expert and teaches and speaks in English and Spanish.
